Today I had a hard time waking up because it is Sunday and the temperature is so cooling to sleep. Fiza had a hard time waking Amirah and me up. I had a slight diarrhea this morning, hopefully it will be all right soon ! I thought today’s weather might be cold like the past few days so I took my jacket along. But turns out today was a very hot day! =(

We had a city tour from morning 9am to afternoon 4.30pm. Our first visit is to the Han Kou Jiang Tang (Han Kou Beach/Yang Tze Jiang). It was a very long walk because the distance of the beach is very long and big. I see people fishing at the bank of the beach, couples dating at the park, families doing exercise together and cycling. Fiza, Amirah, Steffi, Sebas and I witness some people catching water snake, it was very exciting!

Then we went to Bu Xin Lu which is something similar to Singapore’s Orchard Road. While walking through the small alley of the residents’ house, I feel that I am very fortunate to live in Singapore as our living condition is so much better than theirs. The place where they live is so small, dirty and dark. Singaporeans should really cherish what we have now, we may not be the richest but at least we are able to live in a safe and clean environment where we call home.
Mr Puah, Amirah, Fiza, Andy and I went to have our lunch together at KFC, it was Mr. Puah’s treat. Thank you teacher! I still prefer Singapore’s KFC maybe because the chicken tastes very different. The coleslaw is very different too as it consists of sweet corn and cucumber. I also had the smelly tofu that taste so much better than the one I had yesterday and in Taiwan!!! The neoprint shop there is very different from Singapore, we have to choose 16 frames that we want before taking the photo and it will be printed out using the printer. The time to take photo is unlimited therefore we can retake the photo if we are not satisfied, and it only costs 15RMB. Fiza and Amirah was so excited when we found a starbuck café. Haha. I think everyone miss drinking coffee. We will be back someday before we go back Singapore because it Is a very good place to eat and shop!
